I just pulled it out of the box brand new, added grease to the drill shaft, and1 of the 3 chuck claws broke after about 15 minutes of use. I never used a hammer drill before so I did not know that the extra chuck is only for non-SDS regular bits (for regular drilling), not for the included SDS concrete bits. Now that I figured this out, I was able to finish my project. To replace the chuck will a chuck that can handle the hammer drill, I bought the
Bosch 1618571014 SDS-plus Shank 3 Jaw Chuck, and it works well with small concrete bits

Great tool, it help me remove tiles and cement from a kitchen floor. Good quality at a very reasonable price.

I used this over the weekend to put up a towel ring, and it performed very well. I was drilling into concrete and using the drill and hammer mode; I found that to get deeper into the concrete past 1cm, you have to press against the drill until the spring action on the chuck is fully pressed in.

This has 6 speed settings, but it's on a sliding wheel, so you get all possible speed gradients in between. What I noticed, is that there isn't a pressure sensitive trigger, like what you'd get on cordless drills that gradually vary the speed depending on how hard you press; so, when partially pressed there's no action, and when fully pressed it's full speed at whatever setting you have. This may take some getting used to.

The power cable is not especially long and you get maybe 1.5m of length, so you'll want to have an extension available. I didn't notice any power fluctuations when using it in this way. The handle is adjustable and doesn't move once set, so you can focus on finding a stable position and drilling. I've previously used a Cougar branded hammer drill, and it's a familiar experience here. At 5.4KG, it's a weighty drill, so keep that in mind.

In the case, you get: the drill unit, three masonry drill bits (size 8mm,10mm, and 12mm), two chisel bits (one flat, one pointed), a drill depth-stop rod, a rubber/ silicone dust collection pad, a flat wrench for maintenance, lubricant, spare copper connections for the power plug, and the manual. The manual is written in English, German, Spanish, French, and Italian. While everything is straightforward to understand, I wish they had put the diagrams and labels on the same page.

Overall, I am happy with this unit. It got the job done, and wasn't difficult to operate.

Been after one of these for a few months so was pleased as punch when this came up.
It doesn't disappoint either.
Apart from the instructions that could be a bit better for anyone who's never really used a big drill like this before everything else is spot on.
Having used to drill through UK red brick and concrete this thing makes the job simple and doesn't put me off doing them jobs that I need to do anymore.
There's lots of features that are in the description and I especially like the vibration dampening part to reduce vibration through my hands and arms as I have arthritis and can leave my hands ect quite tingly usually with a normal drill.
The item comes complete in a hard plastic carry case with space for your extras and seems very well made and not cheap quality.
It gives great drilling results and the included chisels are a nice added extra as is the drill adapter.
Please note there is quite a bit of weight to this power tool but this is expected with these kind of drills.
Overall a great drill that delivers, with lube to keep it running smoothly and spare carbon brushes at a good affordable price of currently £125.97.
Definitely recommended and worth the price tag 😃

The DOVAMAN RH15A 40MM SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer Drill arrived in a carry case inside the outer carton. Inside the case was the drill, SDS-Plus adaptor, chuck key, three SDS-drill bits, one flat chisel, one point chisel, two carbon brushes, one depth gauge, one wrench, one dust collector, a tube of lubricant, and an instruction leaflet.

I got the drill for putting in mount points in a concrete block wall in my garage that my cordless drill wouldn’t drill. The first thing I noticed was how poor the instructions were, and while fortunately I have used many drills over the years they I am not sure they would be sufficient for someone with very little experience. The second thing I noticed was the weight of the drill, it is pretty heavy and has the feel of something really robust. The second thing I noticed was that, on using it to drill the holes was just how powerful it was as it went through the blocks that my professional grade cordless drill couldn’t handle like a hot knife through butter. It literally took seconds to drill each hole. I haven’t used the chisels, but based on my experience with the drill bits I’d assume that they would work well. Overall I would recommend this drill as it is really powerful, but the instructions definitely need some work.

Excellent price for what you get.

It's a well made hammer drill and makes your life easier. If you've ever used a normal drill with hammer mode and compare it to this you'll see a massive difference. A normal drill can go through the brick with concrete in a couple of minutes using an average drill bit but this one did the job in 13 seconds (I actually counted it).

It's quite heavy so it might get tiring if you're drilling or removing tiles nonstop. The positive side of its weight is that you don't need to apply too much pressure. The ergonomic handle is very good and super easy to adjust. The drilling mode section is great as well as you just push the safety pin in and then rotate it.

The vibration damping technology works a treat!
