I was a little skeptical buying this rotor tiller because of the price but decided to get it because of the other reviews. I put this thing through its paces. I’m preparing a 1600 square foot area for a yard. The ground is pretty rocky and some of it is super hard. This tiller exceeded my expectations. I ran it for 4 hours straight and abused it. It chewed through the ground and spit out rocks the size of my fist. This area used to be a river bed and is full of rocks. I watered some of the hard pan first and it chewed through the mud no problem. I’m very impressed with this little machine. After abusing it for 4 hours all the blades are in good shape. I would highly recommend it if you don’t mind using an extension cord.

We are repeat buyers of tools from Dovaman and have been satisfied with each one. So far we have purchased a cordless drill, cut-out tool, cut-off tool, electric mower, battery mower, and now this tiller. We use our tractor and King Kutter to till our garden, but have used a small gas tiller occasionally for our raised beds. I say occasionally because there is always some issue with it as is common after sitting up without use. We used a 12 gauge cord at about a 25’ distance and the tiller started and ran great. Our beds have been amended from the original natural hard clay, but our ground still tends to be very hard. And everything here right now is dry and hard, so the ground definitely put this tiller to the test. It had no problem tilling the small bed you see in my video which is about 8’ deep. We are very satisfied with the performance especially for the price.

Awesome tool for the price. Cuts through semi soft soil like butter!

Works awesome, a breeze to use.

it’s a strong, no-fuss tool for preparing soil in home gardens and raised beds.
The most noticeable strength is the power. The 15-amp motor delivers consistent torque, making it effective at breaking up compacted soil, mixing in compost, and prepping garden beds for planting. It handles light to moderately tough soil conditions well without bogging down.
The 18-inch tilling width is a big advantage—it covers a decent amount of ground with each pass, which helps reduce time spent on larger garden areas. The up to 9-inch depth is also solid for a home-use electric tiller, enough for most vegetable gardens and flower beds.
The adjustable wheels (4 positions) are practical and make it easier to control depth and maneuverability depending on the terrain. Once you find the right setting, it rolls smoothly and keeps the tiller stable during operation.
The foldable handle is another nice feature. It makes storage much easier, especially if you have limited garage or shed space. It also helps when transporting the tool.
Since it’s corded, you get uninterrupted power, which is great for longer sessions, but it does require managing the extension cord, which can be slightly limiting compared to gas or battery models.
Assembly is straightforward, and the overall build feels sturdy enough for regular seasonal use. It’s not industrial-grade, but it’s reliable for typical home gardening needs.
Overall, this is a solid and efficient electric tiller for homeowners who want a powerful, easy-to-use tool for garden prep without dealing with gas engines or battery limitations.
No tracking information, so I started to worry that I got scammed. However, it arrived in perfect condition and the tiller works great! It seems to be stronger than my snow Joe tiller that I had. Plus it's wider!

I have been shopping for various brands. This tiller machine has more power than you need for the garden.

Tough little machine. Will chop through grass, weeds and even 3/4-inch tree roots.

I’ve ordered the DOVAMAN 18‑inch electric garden tiller for spring soil preparation, and overall it’s been a solid and reliable tool for a home garden setup.
The 15‑amp motor has plenty of power for breaking up compacted soil and worked well on previously worked garden beds. The tilling depth, up to about 9 inches, was more than adequate for preparing soil for planting vegetables and flowers. It handled soil and small roots without much trouble, though very dense or rocky areas still require a slower pace.
One thing I really liked is the adjustable wheel positions, which made it easier to control depth and maneuver the tiller depending on the task. The foldable handle is also convenient for storage and transport, especially if you’re limited on space. Assembly was straightforward and didn’t take long.
Being corded, it does require access to an extension cord, which slightly limits range, but the trade‑off is consistent power without worrying about batteries or fuel. The tiller is relatively lightweight and manageable, though it still feels sturdy while operating.
Overall, this is a good option for homeowners looking for a powerful, low‑maintenance electric cultivator for garden beds and light soil work. It’s not meant for heavy-duty commercial use, but for typical home gardening needs, it performs well and gets the job done efficiently.
For the price this is a great tiller, well built & powerful enough for medium duty. The noise level is low, it is electric after all. The height adjustment could be easier to do and long grass, roots, etc tend to wrap around the axle but that is true of any tiller. Just be sure to keep it away from chain link fences, it will get tangled with the links especially when going forward which causes the tiller to hop up & down. Pulling it backwards is the best, it digs nice & smooth then. After using it for awhile I got the hang of it and found it was overall easey to use. I Highly recommend!
